Over 40 companies in the Black Country and West Midlands have now signed up to take on Engineering Apprentices starting August 2014 with Sandwell Training Association.
At our dedicated engineering centre in West Bromwich, 65 new Apprentice will be starting full time 21st July this year, in all disciplines on Engineering.
They will be spending the first six weeks full time covering health & safety, drawings and technical information, then move on to their chosen field. They then will spend 2 days in centre, 3 days in company.
These will cover machining (turning and milling), fitting, welding and fabrication (MMA, MIG and TIG), maintenance on both mechanical and electrical.
